On Saturday afternoon, over 80 participants took part in a cruise and poker rally to Liscombe Lodge. Cruise participants returned to the Sherbrooke Lions Club for supper served by SHOPS. The newly formed SHOPS (Sherbrooke Opportunities Society) group, have banded together to insure that mentally challenged adults and youth of the area have a space available for programs.
Eastern Shore band “Marine Drive” mixed it up for an appreciative audience at the Courthouse Concert on Friday evening and “Master Blaster” kept everyone on their feet at the Saturday evening dance at the St. Mary’s Lions Hall. Although the Historic Sherbrooke Village Development Society hosts the event, many community groups take part and benefit. The St Mary’s Lions Club, the Sherbrooke & Area Volunteer Fire Department and St. Paul’s Catholic Church all had very successful concession stands.
We hope everyone enjoyed the show and hope to see you all back here next year!
